Brown Butter
Overview
Butter with the milk solids caramelized.
Ingredients
- Butter
- Heat
Instructions
- In a Steal Saucepan or any pan with light interior add butter.
- On medium high heat cook butter lightly stirring, butter will foam and bubble.
- Scrape any solids that build up on the sides down into the butter.
- Continue this process until the butter has gained a toasty golden color.
- Pour into a separate container including solids and cool to room temperature before storing for later use.
