Brown Butter


Overview

Butter with the milk solids caramelized.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a Steal Saucepan or any pan with light interior add butter.
  2. On medium high heat cook butter lightly stirring, butter will foam and bubble.
  3. Scrape any solids that build up on the sides down into the butter.
  4. Continue this process until the butter has gained a toasty golden color.
  5. Pour into a separate container including solids and cool to room temperature before storing for later use.
