Instructions

  1. Melt butter over medium heat, stirring regularly for 3-4 minutes, leaving milk solids in to caramelize
  2. Once butter reaches amber brown remove from heat and transfer to a heat-proof container to cool to room temperature
  3. Beat butter in stand mixer until light and creamy
  4. Beat in cream cheese until smooth
  5. add powdered sugar, salt and vanilla beat until combined and an additional 1-2 minutes or until fluffy
  6. Beat in milk if frosting is to thick.
