Gingerbread Syrup


Overview

A Gingerbread flavored syrup, delicious in hot chocolate with irish cream or whisky, or in coffee.

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan add Molasses, Brown Sugar, Ginger, Cinnamon Sticks, Cloves, Nutmeg, Pepper and 1 cup of water. Bring to a simmer on medium heat, reduce heat to low and cook until sugar fully dissolves.
  2. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in Vanilla. Let steep for 30 minutes.
  3. Strain all solids from syrup and store in refrigerator for up to 1 month.
