Honey Corn Bread

Honey corn bread from the back of 'Indian Head yellow corn meal'

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. In a bowl combine dry ingredients corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
  3. In another bowl whisk together wet ingredients milk, eggs, melted butter, vanilla, and honey until well blended.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just blended.

For Bread (1 platter)
5. Pour batter into 8x8 greased pan.
6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden.

For muffins (makes 12)
5. Pour batter in greased muffin tins, filling to 2/3 full.
6. Bake for 13-17 minutes or until golden.
