Pie Crust
Overview
A simple flaky pie crust, makes enough for 2 open face pies or 1 closed pie.
Ingredients
- 2 cups (302g) All Purpose Flour
- 1 Tablespoon (13g) Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon (5g) Salt
- 1 cup (113g) Cold Unsalted Butter
- Ice water
Instructions
- Combine Flour, Sugar, salt and mix
- Cube butter and mix into the dry mixture using a pastry cutter
- In small amounts add Ice water while mixing until the dough barely holds together
- Place dough ball on a plastic wrap sheet and wrap, refrigerate for 2 hours before use
